The year of 2019 is the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and US. For four decades, exchange achievements in various fields between the two countries have been made; China-US friendship has been strengthened; the basis for people to people exchange has been consolidated. However, Chinese government and US government have not reached agreement over current trade issues, rounds of bilateral negotiations have not gone smoothly; Ms. Meng Wanzhou incident escalated; all these put China-US relations again at turning point.
